Lasted 5 years and just bought a new set!
These boots are really great!I bought my first set in 2020 (size 7) and a second set in 2021 (size 8). The size 7 measured correctly for my dog’s front paws, but they were a bit too small and were wearing at the toes where his claws must have been pressing. The size 8 was perfect for the front paws and I kept the size 7 for his back paws. He wore them every winter day, multiple times a day, for a few years when we lived with heavy salt usage and now wears them if it’s below 5 or 10 degrees, so still many days of the season. They are super worn out (pics included), especially the Velcro and reflective bands but considering they lasted 4-5 years of heavy use, I am super pleased with the quality for cost. I just reorded two new sets, another 7 and 8, and I chose different colors so it will be easier to see which are for his front paws and which are for the back. Absolutely recommend these boots and definitely recommend getting two sets, especially if paws are different sizes front to back and if you’ll be in the snow multiple times a day – it’s nice to have a dry pair.We have never lost a boot. They stay on very well if you put them on tight enough – I strap his on tighter than I would think is comfortable (but he’s fine) and always go below the carpal pad on the front paws which seems more secure than over top. My dog hasn’t minded them at all from day 1 – I ignored the intro instructions and just strapped them on straight away, and he’s been good every since. He never has any discomfort with the boots, and acts like he doesn’t know they’re there. The reflective straps are very bright and really nice to have if you’re walking on the road. They work in all types of snow and stay dry inside even if he’s running through deep snow the whole time. They make an unbelievable difference with his cold tolerance – he’s got wimpy feet and starts holding paws up if he’s in the snow below 5-10 degrees, but with the boots, he’s 100% fine in all temps – we’ve walked down to minus 30 or 40 degrees many times for quite a while and he’s never had an issue. Pretty amazing.Only con would be that they are a bit slippery on the ice and on steeper side hills in the mountains – it’s not too bad or anything but I have noticed that he has a little less traction in those situations and has taken a few spills on the ice or short slides down a hill- I think not having his claws and foot flexibility to grab onto the terrain limits his traction some, but overall a very small price to pay for a product that otherwise massively increases his ability to be out in the winter. We just received the new set and the maiden voyage went well. They are only slightly different than what we had previously but seem better quality if anything. I’ll update if we have any problems with the new sets.I included pics of the old, worn-out set.

My Entire Yard Is A Mudpit From Construction, These Are A Lifesaverâ¦.
We finally found dog boots that actually do the job! Our entire yard has turned into a mudpit from construction, and our 60-pound long-haired Great Pyrenees mix was coming back from âbusiness tripsâ with mud a few inches up her legs and between her pads â no matter what we tried, we couldnât get them fully cleaned. We even used those silicone sleeve paw washers, but they left her paws soaking wet and mud prints were still all over the house. It took a couple of tries to order the right size, but once we got the sizing dialed in, they fit great and stay on securely. Sheâs not thrilled about wearing them, but she reluctantly â yet patiently â waits for us to put them on and then prances around like a show horse! Watching her strut in them is pretty entertaining ð.After taking them off, we either leave the boots out on the porch to dry or just rinse them off with water â easy cleanupBefore these boots, we could never get all the mud off her, and weâd be spending 10-15 minutes trying to avoid mud prints all over the house. These are an enormous time and frustration saver.Very good quality and they actually work. Highly recommend these to anyone dealing with muddy pupsNOTE OF ADVICE: I got the brown ones thinking they wouldnât look dirty and matched her coat, but a boot has come off twice because one the kids rushed putting them on and it was a full walk of the backyard to find it⦠if I bought these all over again, I would get a color that stands out from the mud and leaves. It was actually easier to find the one that came off at night because of the reflective strips on the boots; it lit right up with a flashlight from across the yard. They have not come off at all when either my wife or I put them on her.I hope this is helpful

Good fit/ Utilize front to fold material/velcro should fit snug on the ankle.
Size 8 fit my dogs wide feet perfectly with enough space for her nails- I was slightly concerned for the extra room on the upper material but it works well for activities, Scent Clean/No chemical/standard shipment new shoe type smell, Slip Resistant good-this especially helps on pavement when she runs cause she does a scooby doo type of slide even on concrete-the bottom rubber still allows a small slide on concrete but protects her paw pads, softness on the inside is nice you could possibly add socks for snow or extra cold days.Amelia (my dog) is between 70-75lbs. Breed Some of everything. German Shepherd-Malamute-American Pit-American Staff-Boxer-Mastif-ChowChow. To my understanding thatâs it. ð this girl is just a little over 2 yrs old. People friendly- reactive to most animals(birds, squirrels, dogs, cats, skunks, possums, lizards, even fliesâ¦.) you get it, I have to take her to a private area for exercise, I occasionally socialize her only at big dog parks she loves other large dogs, occasionally gets rowdy with same size or medium dogs, yet respects small dogs unless they snap at her⦠extremely intelligent girl, often moody-sassy-nippy-needy-talkative-jumps-spins(in the air sometimes)⦠we live in the city of Long Beach, CA.Living in the city there arenât many places to exercise her. Thereâs an empty lot near by, I launch a ball a few times or however long she wants to go. However that stopped because her paw pads were noticeably peeling. After walks her paws get red, small cuts, scrapes, rashes⦠etc itâs the city so thereâs a little bit of everything on the floors. So here we are. Shoes for this city dog. Who obviously needs to be in a back country, but here we are.Today was her first day running after the ball again. It went very well, today was also her second day getting introduced to the shoes; the instructions say to take a week of exposing them to your dog. However Amelia picks up on things quickly. Do what you need to do for your own dogs pace of course. Somehow she managed to scrape her ankles while running today, we stopped immediately when I noticed. At first the back shoes flipped upside down on her feet; utilize the opening seem in the front of the shoe to fold the shoes around the ankles and Velcro them tightly, especially if your dog is a hard runner. Other than scraping her ankles on the pavement somehow, the shoes are great. They held up better than I thought they would while she ran. As I said before the city here is a bit dirty, so the shoes did pick up a lot of dirt⦠Iâm ok with that. It goes to show that she needed them with everything thatâs on the floor out here. We go out together often though, so this was a necessary purchase for our activities. We will be hiking again soon. Iâm sure the shoes will hold up well on rugged terrain as well. Read the instructions provided in box and care tips. If you made it to the end of this, thank you for reading, have fun with your furry friends and get them the gear they need. FYI itâs only 4 stars in my book because on the back of one shoe the material seem did get a little torn already and the ankles probably need to be made smaller, but also you need the opening to put the paw inside⦠so just utilize folding the material and Velcroing is snug on the ankle.

Passgenau wenn man vorher die GröÃe ausmisst. Man sollte den Hund langsam an die Schuhe gewöhnen dann funktioniert es auch. Schuhe halten gut am Hund fest.

These dog boots are excellent. We live in a heavy snow area (Barrie, ON) and these hold up great to snow, slush and general gross wet cold winter sidewalks. The double straps are great for keeping the boots on – I have not had one fall off yet. The double straps work so well be sure to not tighten them too much – made this mistake the first day of using them. The front of the boots are wide which is great for medium/large dogs. The bottoms also give good traction as my pups is able to go up and down on snowy hills. Overall a great purchase and you can’t beat the price. Do follow the instructions on how to measure your pups paws – don’t try to purchase these based on weight (for reference my dogs paws are 2.5 x 4 inches and I ordered a size 7).
